The figures in brackets are glove sizes. If you are between two sizes, try a box of the smaller one first. A glove that is too loose gives less feel when fore-stripping and attaching units; one that is too tight tears more easily.
Apron or sleeve
- Flexotaan milking apron: blue, 120 by 80 cm, acid-resistant and resistant to temperatures from -25 to +70 °C.
- Milking and water apron: 80 by 120 cm in green or black, waterproof, with a soft neck strap and adjustable back strap; also usable for cleaning and animal care.
- PVC milking sleeve: waterproof, with elastic at the top, protects your arm and the sleeve of your overalls.
Points to note
Disposable gloves are used for one milking and then thrown away. Many milkers get dry skin from gloves; Excellent Farm Cream in a maxi tub is a caring cream for your hands.
