It turned out to be a fantastic addition to her toy collection. The hollow design creates an interesting bounce, often taking the ball in unexpected directions. This made the game challenging and exciting, though we almost lost him in the water because of that same bounce! Cessna sometimes found it difficult to hold the ball securely, as it occasionally slipped out of her mouth. The 8 cm diameter is a bit too big for a German Shepherd. I would choose a 7 cm diameter ball in the future. The fun squeaking sound made by the two holes in the ball added to the fun of throwing. The ball is also very sturdy and suitable for heavy-duty players, but we recommend not using it near water.
