 De Groene Os Cox Compositum Dog/Cat 50 ml is a protective and revitalizing supplement for older dogs and cats, a tincture against persistent symptoms. Cox Compositum contains herbs that can have a soothing effect on a stiff musculoskeletal system (the whole of bones, joints, muscles, tendons and motor nerves that ensure posture and movement). This has a beneficial effect on overall health and on age-related symptoms.

The enzyme cyclo-oxygenase (COX) plays an essential role in the production of prostaglandins, which in turn are important for the entire body. Pain relievers such as NSAIDs inhibit the function of COX and thus also the formation of prostaglandins. Cox Compositum has no adverse effects on mucous membranes.

The ginger in Cox Compositum has a normalizing effect on prostaglandins and supports the stomach. Green tea has a strong antioxidant effect due to its high polyphenol content and protects healthy cells and tissues. Rosehip is rich in vitamin C and is a strong antioxidant. Lavender has been added for a calming effect on the intestines. The powerful plant palm lily is rich in steroidal saponins and sterols. Used in small quantities, this helps to normalize prostaglandins. Rosemary supports prostaglandin metabolism, is revitalizing, protects against aging and provides energy.
