Care

The Boerboel's short coat requires minimal grooming. Weekly brushing helps remove loose hair and keeps the skin healthy. Regularly check his ears, especially after outdoor activities, and keep his nails short. Due to his large size, good dental care is important to prevent dental problems.

Movement and activity

Although a Boerboel is a large dog, it needs daily exercise to stay healthy and happy. Long walks, playtime, and activities such as obedience training are essential. It enjoys tasks that challenge its intelligence and physical strength, but avoid excessive strenuous physical activity, especially during its growth period, to prevent joint problems.
